Embedded Software Engineer

As part of the Electronic and Software Systems department of the company, you will be part of the software team that develops the different embedded software of the launcher, such as the On-Board Computer’s (OBC) software.

Responsibilities

Tasks and missions

Your mission will include the following tasks:

  • Implement the algorithms developed by the GNC team in the OBC
  • Develop software functions needed in the different embedded software
  • Help with low level code development for the SoC (System on a Chip) selected for the OBC
  • Write the documentation associated to the software you develop and trace bugs and evolutions
  • Write unitary tests for the software you develop
  • Participate in software integration testing campaigns

Preferred experience and skills

  • You have a strong knowledge in embedded C/C++, notions of Ada would be a plus
  • You have a good understanding of software design patterns used in embedded software development
  • You are used to work with version control tools such as Git
  • An experience in writing software specification and design documents would be a plus
  • You are autonomous, curious, and passionate
  • You have a good level both in French and English
  • A good knowledge of space domain would be a plus.
